You should not give eggs to a baby younger than 6 months. First is introduced the yolk that has to be very well boiled and after 12 months the white can be also given. See in Meat / Proteins Monthly Chart when is safe to be introduced

In case that you baby has an egg allergy you have to exclude all aliments that contains eggs
Here are some examples
* Note that this is not a complete list:

  • Yolk
  • White egg
  • Mayonnaise
  • Nougat
  • Lecithin


  • *Important:
    The flu vaccine is usually made using eggs to incubate the vaccine. Egg-allergic individuals may react to the vaccine.
